Last week we looked at how Jesus answered the disciples’ question, "Who then can be saved?” after His encounter with the rich young ruler in Matthew 19.

This Sunday we will consider another important question: “What is the evidence of eternal life?”

If someone asked you for the evidence of your eternal life, how would you respond?

You might say that you have genuine faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You might point to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit or to the fruit the Spirit produces in a believer’s life.

But where do those evidences begin?

And what does it truly mean to follow Jesus?
